At Skill Within, we stand behind every audit and upgrade we deliver. If something isn't right, we want to make it right. Our refund policy is designed to be fair to you and sustainable for our small team of human experts.

1. When You're Eligible for a Refund

You can request a full refund if:

  • Your audit was not delivered within 48 hours of payment and submission
  • The audit report has factual errors or doesn't match the service description
  • You're genuinely dissatisfied with the quality of the audit (we'll ask for specific feedback)
  • You were charged twice or by mistake (technical billing issue)

Refund requests must be submitted within 7 days of receiving your audit or upgrade report.

2. When Refunds Are Not Available

Refunds are not available for:

  • Reports that have already been delivered and are accurate as per service description
  • Dissatisfaction based on results (e.g., job outcomes, interview calls) — we don't guarantee specific outcomes
  • Change of mind after delivery
  • Requests submitted more than 7 days after delivery
  • Services that are partially used or where significant work has been done (1-on-1 calls, completed CV rewrites)
  • Pro Career Upgrade after a consultation call has been completed

3. How to Request a Refund

Requesting a refund is simple:

  1. Email us at hello@skillwithin.com with the subject "Refund Request"
  2. Include your order ID, the email used at purchase, and the reason for refund
  3. Provide specific feedback — this helps us improve and helps us evaluate your request fairly
  4. We'll respond within 2 business days with a decision or follow-up questions

4. Refund Process & Timeline

Once approved:

  • Refunds are processed within 7-10 business days
  • The amount is credited back to the original payment method
  • You'll receive an email confirmation when the refund is initiated
  • Bank or payment processor timelines may add a few extra days before the amount reflects in your account

5. Partial Refunds

In some cases, we may offer partial refunds — for example, if part of the service has been delivered but the rest is incomplete or unsatisfactory. We'll discuss this transparently with you before processing.

6. Cancellation Before Delivery

If you change your mind before we begin working on your audit, you can request a full refund with no questions asked. Just email us as soon as possible after payment.

Once we've started reviewing your profile (typically within a few hours of payment), cancellation may not be possible, but a partial refund can be discussed based on the work completed.

7. Disputes

If you disagree with our refund decision, please reply to our email with additional context. We're a small team of real humans and we want to find a fair resolution. Escalations beyond email correspondence are governed by our Terms of Service.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. The version in effect at the time of your purchase will apply to your refund eligibility.
